Jorge Gaona Ros
Jorge Gaona Ros (born on 28/5/1988) was 6 years old when he started playing clarinet in San Miguel de Salinas, his hometown in the south of Alicante (Spain), and studied in Spain until he got his bachelor degree in 2011 from the “Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Murcia”. Then he moved to Oslo (Norway) where he studied his Master degree in Music Performance and Chamber Music with professors like Björn Nyman, Hans Christian Braen, Froydis Ree Werke or Dag Jensen in “Norges Musikkhøgskole”. Besides, he has had lessons with clarinet players as Leif Arne Pedersen, Johannes Peitz, Yehuda Gilad, Larry Passin and Lorenzo Coppola among others.
He has played in orchestras like the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Artic Philharmonic, Murcia Symphony Orchestra or Schleswig-Holstein Orchestra among others together with different chamber music groups all over Norway (mostly with wind quintet, clarinet, cello and piano trio and reeds trio).
Recently he moved to the Netherlands to start his career as clarinet player in Orkest van het Oosten and became aswell member of Valerius Ensamble.
