Marco Rogliano

I was born in Rome where I studied Violin at the S. Cecilia Conservatory with Antonio Salvatore. My other teachers were Ruggiero Ricci at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Salvatore Accardo at the W. Stauffer Academy in Cremona and Riccardo Brengola at the Chigiana Academy in Siena. I won prizes in International Competitions as a Soloist and Chamber musician in Rome, Munich,Helsingborg, New York. I played in many famous Concert Halls in Europe, Japan,New York and Macao both as Soloist and recitalist with conductors like Shambadal, Rasilainen, Ceccherini, Neuhold, Accardo. Famous Italian orchestras like Milan Alla Scala, Naple S. Carlo and Venice La Fenice invited me as Guest Concertmaster and for many years I have been Principal Concertmaster of the Italian Chamber Orchestra and Pavia Soloists Chamber Orchestra conducted by Accardo and Dindo. My Tactus

recording of Paganini 24 Caprices was acclaimed by the most important reviews. I recorded also for Naxos, ASV, Kairos and Amadeus. My violin is a very nice Nicola Bergonzi (Cremona,1790) trusted by the Maggini Foundation in Switzerland. Actually I'm Chamber Music Professor at the "G.B. Pergolesi" Conservatory in Fermo (Italy) and the new Second Concertmaster in the Orkest van het Oosten (Netherlands).

Hij is plaatsvervangend 2e concertmeester.
